In metallic Blue over Silver with pale grey hide piped blue and a dark blue hood.
This striking Alvis Grey Lady Drophead by Tickford has had two owners in the last nineteen years. It is fitted with a 3.0 litre, straight six engine, a four speed gearbox and twin carburettors giving it a 100 mph performance in period. The original twin bonnet scoops are in place and twin Kenlowe fans have been fitted for peace of mind in modern traffic.
The interior presents very well having, no doubt, been retrimmed some years ago. The chromework is very good thoughout.
Brian Chrimes of Just Classics Ltd, Alvis specialists, carried out work when the last owner purchased the car seven years ago including a full respray. He fitted a beautiful new hood and tonneau in blue and checked the car through. The Alvis remains in very smart condition and the underside is excellent.
New price. A superb sporty saloon, exported new in 1954 to New Zealand where she had 3 owners and was refurbished by the last owner in 2012 and I acquired and brought her back to the UK in 2015.
An older well documented restoration, with good patina .
All history and bills she is a very good runner.
Photographs of the body off restoration.
