1953 Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1, LHD, L/140212 For Sale
This Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1, dispatched on August the 22nd, 1953 from the Longbridge plant to the USA is exceptionally well restored. This was one of the first Austin-Healeys to leave the assembly belt on Longbridge as approximately car number 67.
The Coronet Cream colour is very rare with only 376 cars painted in this colour. The
interior trim was either red or blue. Transmission: three-speed gearbox fitted with
Laycock de Normaville overdrive. The car has matching numbers.

This Austin-Healey is particularly remarkable because of its early date of production,
outstanding standard of restoration as well as rareness of colour.

The Healey has been in the present owner's possession since May 1990. It is fully restored (bolt and nut) and was stripped from all paint, sandblasted and then repainted. The driving line as well as the chassis have had a total overhaul. The Healey was registered in Denmark on October 7th, 2005 and has 8000 miles on it since restoration.
