1965 Triumph Bonneville T120 'Special' - A truly unique example of this classic machine.
Fully restored / built in 2013-2014 by Heritage Classics, Triumph Specialists having only covered 126 miles since.
Serviced and run in August 2018.
Fitted with fully rebuilt 1966 T120R 650cc Unit construction 'Fast Road' Bonneville engine.
Engine built with +20 thou oversize pistons, new bushes and bearings throughout, Dural push rods & spitfire cams.
The frame, fork bottoms, number plate, chain guard, mudguard stays and oil tank are finished in silver. The petrol tank and mudguards are finished in chrome with a deep metallic purple top (Centre stripe on the mudguards) separated by gold pin lines.
Fully refurbished seat covered in black vinyl with a light grey / silver top.
The fully re-built wheels feature centres finished in silver, Aluminium wheel rims, stainless steel spokes and new tyres.
The front wheel is fitted with a twin leading shoe front brake.
The standard single headlamp unit has been replaced with twin lamp units, one functioning as dipped beam, the other as main beam.
The bike has been fitted with neat modern indicators wired into later triumph hand grip switches. This was done to make the bike safer to ride on today's roads.
Fully re-furbished Smiths Chronometric Speedometer, Rev-counter and fitted with ancillary oil pressure gauge.
Custom fabricated silencers which sound fabulous!
The bike is in excellent condition, with too many refurbished and new parts fitted during its build to list. Very few expenses were spared during the build of this machine.
