Unfortunately, due to health issues my 1950 Sunbeam S8 has become a "stalled project" and lack of space now dictates a reluctant sale. My bike was running before being assigned to the bike bench around 2 years ago for "therapeutic reasons" and it now needs partial reassembly before being used. All parts are present although the fibre glass front mudguard & air filter cover, the exhaust silencers copper tail pipe and rebuilt wheels are obviously not original. Tyres, rear mudguard and all other tin wear are in excellent condition although a replacement battery will be needed and I do recall the charge rate, when last used, was low. It retains the original and correct transferable registration number and when last ridden around 3 years ago, it was running fine although a little spluttery at low engine speeds. Obviously given its age and needing assembly which simply comprises of: 3 x boxes, brake pedal plus rods, kick start lever, clutch lever, air filter and cover, silencer, rear mudguard, throttle twist grip and the wiring re-connecting and as my bikes is still on the bench where disassembly was started all fixings should be present. A "knowledgeable" inspection is advised and invited on the understanding that the purchase price, irrespective of your opinion, is definitely "non negotiable" as my Sunbeam is realistically priced for a machine that just requires a simple reassembly (and possibly the odd component replacing) to enable it to be put back on the road.
