I have owned this Beetle for the last two years. In that time I have maintained it and brought it up to be a very clean and useable Beetle.
Since my ownership the following has been carried out:
New interior consisting of seat padding and TML covers, Black basket weave. Brand new VW HERITAGE Oatmeal carpet.
Service inc new spark plugs new leads and new condenser. When the car came to me it struggled to get above 40mph due to a duff spark plug and condenser.
New front suspension struts and bushes. Rear spring plate suspension adjusted by reputable VW garage.
Bodywork has been sympathetically repaired by matching paint and repairing poor paint on wings, new VW HERITAGE bonnet.
Wheels stripped and powder coated.
The underside is solid....I looked at many Beetles and always check the underside first. This one has been repaired in the past (previous owners resto photos inc).
All in all this is not a concourse car by a long way, but it is very very clean and useable.
Genuine reason for sale...I have another classic and one has to go due to a new company car. I can't decide which so both are for sale and whichever sells first will go, I'll keep the other as they are both great.
No time wasters please...life's too short.
Car is priced well and will still owe me money. I searched and trawled through loads of Beetles, none in this condition Andy the majority were more expensive.
More photos to follow.
Good, honest oval Beetle with brand new interior. Fitted with later engine but original engine is beeing rebuilt and it's included in sale price. Body is rust free and paint is patinated. Side repeaters.....
