1963 CLASSIC AUSTIN MINI SPRINT R COOPER S 1275 For Sale
Here I have for sale a simply stunning Classic Mini. This is an original 1963 Austin Cooper that has been fully rebuilt into a Mini Sprint R.
The body was modified by the original inventor of the Mini Sprint, Neville Trickett. The car was then lovingly built & restored with no expense spared by Mini specialists, Old Skool Mini's, SMS Motorsport & Corkills Motor Group. The results of all of this painstaking work are a credit to them all, as the quality of the build is outstanding.
The Neville Trickett Sprint Body Conversion consisted of 4 inches being removed from the overall height of the car, but whilst still maintaining the classic Mini shape.
2 inches were removed from above, and 2 inches from below the waistline, the shell was then de-seamed & de-badged, and fitted with custom glass & twin fuel tanks, creating a stunning looking version of the Mini.
This is a unique opportunity for the collector to acquire a completely one off Mini in fantastic condition. This is a true investment opportunity as this car is sure to keep going up and up in value. Cars like this do not come up for sale very often, and this is surely one of the best in existence, having covered just 900 miles since the build.
This car was featured in MiniWorld magazine in 2015, and the article can be sent out to serious prospective buyers to see, and for the full build spec of the car.
This Mini is a very high spec, and here is a brief summary......
MED Tuned 1275 S Block, Bored out to 1293cc, Omega Pistons, Modified Head, Forged Rockers, Twin SU Carbs, 649 Camshaft, Approx 100 BHP.
Straight Cut 4-Synchro Close Ratio Gearbox, Spax Adjustable Suspension, Dunlop D1 5x10" Alloys & Yokohama A008 Tyres.
Newton Commercial Custom Seats & Carpets, Mota-Lita Steering Wheel, Paddy Hopkirk Pedals.
I am selling this car on behalf of a customer, and it is not currently stored at my garage so viewing is strictly by appointment only.
This Mini is not to be confused with others, this really simply is the best out there, and is good enough to be a museum piece.
The car will be sold with a new MOT if required, and delivery could be arranged.
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing?
