Production of the original R1 the 4XV ended in late 1999, with the revised and softened 5JJ model.
This example was first registered on Jan 31st 1998. It is thought to be the third R1 to be brought into Britain and the earliest known registered survivor.

This example has lots of discrete improvements, inc a Tech 2000 rear shock, K-Tec fork springs, an Akrapovic silencer, Dyno Jet kit, K+N air filter, a Brembo front brake master cylinder, double bubble race screen.
