The early Porsche 996 Carrera is fast becoming a modern classic but finding good ones is hard, so we were delighted to get this lovely manual transmission example which has clearly been cherished.
The exciting thing about this car is that it includes the Sports Package, which gives you 10mm-lower Sports suspension, a limited-slip differential and hard-backed Sports seats. The uprated suspension improves what is already a great-handling car and the lower stance looks great, too. The handling is further aided by traction control.
The Porsche is finished in timeless Arctic Silver Metallic with original-equipment 18-inch Turbo alloy wheels.
The interior is Metropole Blue leathered benefits from the aforementioned hard-backed Sports seats which offer great support and comfort, a trip computer and sunroof. A modern Kenwood head unit gives Bluetooth phone connectivity and an iPod connection.
The 911 comes with a well documented service history showing that it has been well maintained. Work of note includes a comprehensive suspension overhaul including new front dampers, plus new bushes and top mounts. We have just serviced the car, too and done a few other jobs to bring it to our standard.
Unless otherwise stated, all our cars are put through a thorough independent mechanical inspection and any faults found are rectified before sale. They are also issued with 12 months’ MoT (without any advisories) and a six month warranty underwritten by us. Part exchange and finance available.
