For sale is my early 1962 A65 Star.The bike has had a full restoration in 2016/17 & has only done about 250 miles since.New stainless steel spokes,rims, & wheel bearings. Re bored, new pistons, rings ,valves & valve springs,engine seals etc,& a new amal carb fitted.
The fuel tank has been lined with a sealant to cope with the ethol in the fuel.The bike has pazon electronic ignition fitted, & has been converted to a 12v system.New exhausts,silencers rear shocks ,seat& mudguards have also been fitted.
Front forks have been rebuilt with new fork tubes, seals etc,as have the swinging arm.
Many other new parts fitted.I also have a dating certificate from the BSA Owners Club giving dispatch details & show the original frame & engine numbers which are still on the bike, & it is MOT & tax except.
Bad bits: the bike is prone to wet sumping if left for sometime.It also has a small oil leak from the speedo drive.
