1935 Daimler 15 - Drop Head Coupe (DHC) by Mulliner For Sale
Daimler is one of the few manufacturers that can rightfully claim to have been established from the birth of the motor industry. The company’s traditions of sound engineering, design and good workmanship have been maintained throughout, hardly surprising therefore that Daimler enjoyed a lengthy association with Royalty as suppliers of motor cars. Daimler cars has been purchased in the 60's by Jaguar.
This is a very rare and stunning example of Dailmer Light 15 Three position Drop Head Coupé by Mulliners of Birmingham. One of only two ever made !
This is a very rare car and also in very good condition. It has a Wilson pre-selection gearbox and a 6 cylinder 2l in line. The engine and gearbox has been overhauled 4 years ago and the car has done a few meetings since then. It has 4 seats so it's a perfect all-weather family car.
The seats are still original with beautiful patina, the interior carpets and the roof has been professionally rebuilt some years ago and is in perfect condition. Matching number and everything is working perfectly.
Original toolbox is also included, incl. extinguisher, car lift. I have added a very practical USB connection to recharge the mobile phone / GPS (this can be removed without any damage if needed).
The car is sold with his original maintenance record of 1935, included all the related documents and history. The original sales brochures are also included with the sale.
This is a private sale and you are warmly welcome to visit the car or a drive. Other detailed pictures available on request.
