This lovely old car has been in the same ownership since 1993 but has spent the last 15 years off the road, resting in its garage, making it an ideal candidate for light restoration. We have now go it running and driving - it starts very easily and has good oil pressure, but the cooling system has some leaks and will need attention. Further re-commissioning will be needed, as the brake master cylinder and probably wheel cylinders are seized (the brakes themselves are not stuck on), however the hand brake works so the car can be moved around under its own steam. There do not seem to be any problems with the clutch or gearbox. The underside of the car is sound, although it does require cleaning and painting and there is some welding needed to the spare wheel carrier. The upper body work is good with good tin-work and well fitting panels, including doors and bonnet. The paintwork is good to say it has been standing for so long, but it would benefit from improvement. The interior of the car is excellent, including door cards, head lining and seats, and there is a sliding sun roof and opening front window (not yet tested). At the time of its hibernation, the car was running fine, according to the owner. We think this would make a lovely wedding car - it really looks the part in its cream livery. Comes with handbook, V5C and continuation book dating back to 1967, showing the same numbers - so more than likely this is the original registration number. This is a very realistically priced car, so no silly offers please!

1960 Wolseley 1500 , I bought this car last summer to drive and improve . I parked the car in the garage and never had the time to use it due to starting my business. The car was restored in the 80s and has generally held up well however there are areas that are showing their age , non of this detracts .....
