Family heirloom owned by my late father who restored the car in late 1980's/early 1990's. He died in 1994 and the car has been stored away in his brick & tiled garage in Reading ever since. He owned the vehicle since 1979 and there are MoT records from 1978 to show the vehicle history.
The car is in Damask Red and has the 2200 engine with manual box and PAS. It has been fitted with a small Bridgewater sunroof. At least 1 sill was replaced before being fully resprayed around 1988. There are only limited signs of rust and it is in particularly good condition considering how long it's been in storage; the paintwork polishes up well as can be seen from the close-up picture of the front of the car. The velour upholstery was also refurbished in the late 1980's and is in excellent condition.
The engine turns over and the car can be moved around on the concrete apron outside the garage; in reality the car needs recommissioning which is not something I have the time nor skills to do. There is plenty of space for vehicle & trailer access to remove the car.
