1979 Rare Volkswagen Typ 11 Ex Bundeswher For Sale

Even in times of peace, armies need vehicles for travel within their areas of expertise. And this was the story of the Typ 11 "Beetle luxury" supplied to the German army of Bundsewehr. Original and complete, it belonged to the headquarters (frieze HQ High Quartier) stationed in Dortmund. Although it is a post-war vehicle, it maintains a very high historical interest, being a VW derived from the KDF project for military use, and it is precisely this characteristic that makes it incomparable to other civil VWs. The car is one of the first 20, 000 produced in Mexico chassis 20576. The engine is its original type D No. 1454216 with 30, 000 km original. An appropriate technical preparation was obviously carried out with: new tires, new petrol tank, oil change, spark plugs, replacement of brake cylinders and brake shoes, replacement of pins and pre-adjusted valves, tappet adjustment, replacement of fuel pipes, bearings, new muffler terminals, exchanger of new heat. The car has been repainted with redone funds. The interior carpet and seats have been regenerated in a compliant manner. It currently has a professional set-up and its original high (military) is available. The car has the Historical Relevance Certification and ASI certificate. Because of its reliability and robustness it is a medium that can be used almost in any weather condition.
NB is not a "green" Beetle but a former vehicle of the German army.
