Please read carefully the work that is required Below.... I've had many enquiries asking what is required on the vehicle to get it road worthy.

There is not a great deal of work but obviously the work mentioned below is a good starting point. I have photos of the interior if you wish to see them.

A little effort to bring it up to roads standard hence the price! Again I will not accept any offers on the asking price.

If you're looking for something to drive away this is not it. You will need to tow it for safety reasons. However as mentioned a very small amount of work will put it on the road legally. I have driven it several times but the brakes need restoration. It has had new parts slave cylinder brake pipes etc but it's worthwhile going over the brakes again hand brakes works perfectly.

I'm highlighting this because vehicle should not be driven until you the purchaser are satisfied with the legalities of the condition of it while it is on the public highway.

If you want a showroom car that's worth 50000 you need to buy one again this is not it because it's only a quarter of the price but remember anything can be brought up in showroom condition with effort.

Very clean 1963 Mark II 3. 4 Jaguar.

Factory fitted HYDRAULIC POWER ASSISTED STEERING. Motolita steering wheel and collar available

This is the perfect car to drive, as and when you wish without it having to be a showroom vehicle. Showroom vehicles can hardly be driven. Then you can continue to improve and restore the vehicle as you wish. These cars always require maintenance. This MK II is 55 years old.
Chrome is in excellent condition all round.

Front right sill and lower wheel arches require light remedial work.

One out rigger requires replacement

Brakes require restoration.

Interior very good condition.

Will require new plugs, leads and points and timing will need to be checked for smooth running.

Chrome wires average very usable but not perfect.

Complete car engine runs and sounds very good.

Electronic immobiliser fitted and working.

The interior wood is in very good condition as are most other areas seats carpets headlining.

Not much history other than it was in Africa for 20 years and has also been stored inside for over 12 years.

Imported from South Africa by a previous owner, prior to my purchase.

I bought on a whim and realised I don't have time to dedicate to caring for it as I travel abroad frequently.

With what I believe to be very minimal work this vehicle could be on the road and you could be enjoying a very nice drive.

You're welcome to come and inspect the vehicle.

Buyer collects.

Please do not bid or make offers unless you are 100% sure you want to buy. Any deposits will not be refundable.

The Buyer will be buying the vehicle as seen with no guarantees or warranties whatsoever.

This is a 55 year old vehicle and work will be required to maintain and keep the vehicle in a satisfactory and legal condition on any UK road.

MOT and tax and not required on this vehicle but it is advised that anyone who drives this vehicle will be required by law to maintain the vehicle to a standard which conforms to British law.
