1983 Mercedes-Benz 300DT Saloon.
This 4 door sedan was owned by the same family in New York from new until 2017. It only has 74,000 miles. The original paint is Anthracite (DB 172) and has a Date (154) MB Tex interior. The W123 diesels are legendary for their reliability and longevity. Examples with hundreds of thousands of miles are plentiful, but ones with less than 100,000 miles are rarely seen.
This is a Turbo charged, LHD, USA version with 126 HP. The turbo diesel sedans were not sold when new in Europe. Features include a 4 speed automatic transmission, automatic climate control with A/C, cruise control, electric windows and sunroof, zebrano wood trim, original Becker radio, 4 wheel disc brakes, and power antenna. This car starts right up every time and feels very tight. There are no rattles or noises. No rust issues. The dash pad is free of any cracks.
This survivor car was always garaged and was well maintained by local Mercedes expert for decades. The following work was recently performed: oil and brake fluid change; front brake calibers, pads and hoses; 4 shocks and A/C compressor. Everything works except cruise control and clock.
The car is located 40 miles north of New York City and can be driven to a port for international shipping.
