Excelsior Roadmaster R10 1959 For Sale

Excelsior Roadmaster R10 197cc Villiers 9E original 2-stroke engine. First registered 18-11-1959.
V5C present and correct in my name. Starts easily and runs well but gears hard to select and it smokes a bit. No battery but lights work with engine running. Would make an excellent restoration project or could be used as is after a bit of work. Old buff logbook showing current registration is original. Also some old tax discs and MOT certificates plus an old, undated hire purchase agreement. Bike is MOT and tax exempt. Mileage shows 6923 which could be genuine. Currently on a SORN.
This is a lovely old original and rare motorcycle with great character. I had planned to get it up and running but I have recently been given a 1953 Francis Barnett and I can’t keep both so this one is up for sale.
Viewing recommended. Please phone the details below. Bike is in Christchurch, Dorset
