SPARTAN KIT CAR (MGTD Replica)
This unfinished project in silver with black wings and interior is built on a 1970 Triumph Vitesse 2 litre 6 cylinder Saloon (donor vehicle) which had covered 60000 miles with fsh. Registration number VTF585H, engine number HC53488HF and chassis number HC53072DL. The first owner was Mr Badrock of Manchester. A new aluminium body and parts were purchased from Spartan a few years ago and now all the mechanical parts are fitted in the car and the chassis is finished with the body on.
This was a father and son project that they both decided to stop and trade the car in with us for a 16k sports car.
So,in essence, the car needs finishing off.
The history folder includes: DVLA paperwork, original Spartan Sales Catalogue x 2, write up on Spartan cars, build manual, correspondence from Spartan, article on the Company and road test report, loading check listing and building manuals and diagrams, Triumph parts catalogue, Triumph Courier Magazine, Cloths Magazine, Vitesse Workshop manual, Triumph Six rebuild manual, Belt and Braces Magazine, article on building a replica car from Car Mechanics.
Much of the hard work has been done on this project so it is a great way to spend the coming winter months getting it ready for an exciting driving experience in the spring! The car is sold with a large box of spares and we would be happy to exchange a more expensive modern or classic car in part exchange. £1995
