1966 Triumph Herald 12/50 Low mileage. Full year's MOT. For Sale
For sale is this Triumph Herald 12/50 saloon, in Wedgewood Blue, in very good condition. Approx. 100% original, or original replacements. Carpets replaced, rubber seals (including door seals and front and rear windscreen seals) replaced. White rubber bumpers replaced. Headlining refurbished, vinyl sunroof refurbished. Any rust found has been dealt with. (Mainly rubbed down, rust converter applied, then painted). Period radio fitted, under glove box area, receives MW channels. (note, interference is bad) Exterior prepared (not down to bare metal, except where rust found) and home resprayed. Good d.i.y. job, but not 'concours'. Probably Grade 1 interior, exterior and engine. 57665 genuine miles, only 1600 done in last 3 years. MOT until October 2019, no advisories. V5C is here, other documents include original owner's manual, service schedule, and workshop manual. Runs well, idles smoothly, comfortable 70 m.p.h. on a level motorway. No known mechanical, engine or body problems. New spark plugs, oil filter, oil changed a few miles ago. New battery and clutch master cylinder fitted at 57000 miles. Buy now, will fetch a higher price in the spring.
