Rear Wheel Drive, 2.6L Rotary engined. Original UK car.
12 months MOT (until September 2019)
2+2 seats, Electric windows, electric pop up headlights, removable sunroof (pops into a bag in the back). Interior in great condition in the right colours black (vinyl/leather effect) on grey fabric (as per pic in the brochure)
Very well looked after its entire life, 99% Original (except for 1980s afetrmarket radio and aerial).
Rotary Mazda 12a (non turbo) engine running strong and clean. Pulls well no problems. Flew through the MOT (with new rear pads, 4 new tyres), has only done 500 miles in the last 3 years.
Pre oiler still fitted as is the viscous fan and 'thermal reactor' (emissions device).
Has been owned by enthusiasts its entire life, ran on good quality mineral oils and a touch of two stroke. An absolute hoot to drive, a bit like a 2 stroke motorbike albeit much lower to the ground, with a heater and seatbelts.
The front offside has been replaced and has been re-sprayed - whilst the rest of the car is in its orignal paint / panels. The rear arches have been repaired professionally in the past and are showing some very light cosmetic bubbles (nothing serious and they are totally solid). The paint is good for the age, although I would consider sorting the age marks and a full respray to complete a mechanically solid well looked after car.
