Well known to Furlonger having been supplied by us previously is this well specified Ferrari FF finished in Nero Daytona with the unusual, collectable interior colour of Cioccolato.
First announced in March of 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, The Ferrari FF was launched as the successor to the 612 Scaglietti. The FF had some radical changes in its design over the 612, with an entirely new shooting-brake/hatchback profile that was incredibly well received. The name FF, which stands for ‘Ferrari Four’ denotes the cars all new four-wheel drive system and four seats. During its early production, the FF in fact had the largest road-going engine ever produced, a 6.3 Litre V12 which produced a monstrous 651 horsepower. Coupled with the power plant was Ferraris F1-DCT (dual clutch transmission) gearbox with paddle shift that was found in the California, 458 Italia and later F12.
The four-wheel drive system was entirely designed and engineered by Ferrari, it was approximately 50% lighter than a conventional 4WD system and what makes it so efficient is its intelligent ability to provide power to all 4 wheels when required. The 4WD system is not always active, it will function only when the ‘Manetino’ dial on the steering wheel is positioned in ‘Comfort’ or ‘Snow’, meaning that the FF is most often left in the traditional rear-wheel drive.
This impressive Ferrari FF has a wonderful specification featuring 20’’ Forged alloy wheels finished in satin black, front grille and vents throughout body work finished in black, Giallo brake callipers, Scuderia shields, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, Nero carpets, Giallo rev counter, carbon fibre driver zone + shift LED’s, fully electric heated Daytona style sports seats with alcantara insters, Cavallino stitched on headrests, carbon fibre dashboard inserts, cruise control, High power HI-FI system and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The FF serves as the ultimate choice of supercar with immense performance combined with everyday practicality. With plenty of space for 4 adults, luggage and all year round usability, the Ferrari FF is arguably one of the most adaptable supercars ever made.
