This brilliant 50’s drivers car is fitted with 1798 cc B series 5 bearing engine and 3.9:1 diff to give reliability and effortless cruising, recent long run, interior is red leather, front seats are from a Jaguar to give increased comfort, but original seats, one good and one tired are available with the car. Bodywork is sound, paintwork is acceptable but not perfect, there are photos of a restoration some years ago, recent brakes overhaul, current MOT (although not required), original buff logbook, V5C and some history.

This excellent Twilight Grey ZB Magnette has a large history file which includes both owner's and workshop manuals as well as invoices, previous registration documents etc. It is believed to be a four owner car. The MG Magnette was designed by the renowned Gerald Palmer of Riley and Jowett fame. The Magnette was the first monocoque car to bear the MG insignia. Launched in 1953, the ZA was powered by the new 4 cylinder 1489 cc B series engine with twin SU carburettors producing 60 bhp. The ZB came out in 1956 .....
