This is a Holden bodied Chevrolet that has had an older restoration in its Australian homeland ( hence why its conveniently right hand drive ) before being shipped to the UK in 1996. I acquired the vehicle after it had been in storage and have fitted it with new tyres, tubes and flaps, plugs, leads, battery, dynamo rewound, rebuilt the back axle with new bearings throughout, reupholstered the main seat base with a marine ply base ( the original was chipboard and had cracked ) and turned up a few items like horn button, spin nuts for rocker cover and hood which makes life easier.
Starts on the button and always draws a crowd at shows, the wooden spoked wheels especially attract a lot of comment, driving is great fun and a lot easier than a Model T.
This stunning Camaro was sold new in 1967 in the Australian market, hence the very rare right hand drive configuration. As with all Australia market vehicles it was produced as a standard model Camaro......
