1972 32,700 low mileage MK III Jensen Interceptor. For Sale
This car has been the subject of a sympathetic restoration project covering a 10 year period by a retired motor mechanic & included a recent "2015" bare metal respray to the original build colour of Reef Blue new inner and outer sills have also been fitted and the car is solid including the underside. The navy blue leather interior has also been restored, the restoration has included all new tyres in 2018 plus a new steering rack, brake discs & pads, a new duel master brake cylinder, brake pipes & callipers all round, new superior combined heat and acoustic under bonnet insulation, refurbished fuel tank, gearbox, rear axle, engine oil & filter change. The car received an M.O.T on 24th Sept 2017 with nil advisories at a recorded mileage of just 32,700 miles, this checks out against the last documented mileage at 32,594 on 5th December 1979 which suggests that the car was stationary for around 27 years, I purchased the car in October 2007 and the log book shows only 2 former owners. The car is complete and running with a 6.3 litre engine as standard fitment to mk l, ll & early mk lll cars. The tool roll, jack engine and car workshop manuals plus the Jensen glove box hand book are with the car and the period 8 track sterio tape & radio is fitted and works.
Second owner since 1988, older restoration same time - painted, new top, new full leather interior, leather boot, lot of repairs done, now any rust ever, new tires. Hasn’t been driven for 25 years, revived several month ago.
