I am selling my beloved Jaguar the first car I’ve ever owned as I’ve always been a biker.
I’ve owned her for 6 wonderful years. So far as I am aware she is a good original, unrestored vehicle with 61,600 genuine miles. Since owning her I have had some essential works completed:
New headlining fitted by Upton & Son
New steering rack
New front & rear brake discs and pads
Underside fully Waxoyled
4 new tyres fitted this July
The colour is Sable and the interior trim colour is known as cinnamon, this is all detailed on the heritage certificate which I have for the vehicle. Originally distributed from the Tourist Trophy garage in Farnham, Surrey. Lots of original documentation - original handbook.
In 2015 I won the Brooklands Pride and Joy trophy for her.July 2015 she was also featured in Classic Cars issue 504 and 2018 in Classic Car Weekly issue 1430.
There is barely any rust on the whole car, the paintwork is good old 42 year old Jaguar paintwork, some micro blistering but overall no scratches. I feel and have been told she is a great looking example and she always draws attention at shows.
Personal circumstances have changed and I don’t have so many opportunities to use her and she needs to be driven and enjoyed, I have other projects I need to work on so it’s time for someone else to enjoy her.
