1994 DUCATI 888 VEESPEED.COM FOR MORE PHOTOS For Sale
Made in Italy, imported from Holland & now registered in the UK since 2012. A late Strada from the factory, it now has the option of the original single injector throttle bodies & standard choke (cable operated), or twin injector 916 SP throttle bodies and a 916 throttle assembly so you lose the choke cable from left bar (all included). I've owned for 5 years and after riding for a while I decided it was a little dirty and ended up here....
There's been a lot of hours go into this , and I mean a lot.
Many bespoke parts including handmade aluminium air plate (similar to Corsa carbon) eliminating the airbox (airBlox), Piper X foam filter. (can be replicated for anyone interested).
Many parts have had casting 'mass production' marks removed and been polished (Yokes, fork lowers, swing arm, shock linkage)
Aluminium rear subframe. Original steel front subframe powdered to match rear.
3x 'Braking' (as in Italian company) wave discs. Pads all new.
Infact everything is new/ checked/ re-plated/ renewed/ replaced/ re-hosed and/ or tubed/ piped.
Clutch casing machined as Corse and 1098 Ducati "Corse" clutch fitted.
Paint is original and seat unit/ seat are genuine period Ducati . Paintwork has been brought back up to excellent standard, but NOT repainted.
New full 50mm header Sil Motor Race exhaust system.
Motor mint. Ducati mechanic by trade. All valves brought in to . 10mm (opening & closing) or a soupçon tighter.
New 'original' heat protection matting under tank.
Engraved top yoke by Don Blocksidge (Legendary gun & motorcycle engraver). Original plain top yoke is currently fitted, with carbon protector.
Ohlins rear shock. Nitron shown in photo's.
Oberon reservoir caps, clutch slave, bar ends.
MS Carbon hugger, and other carbon parts (Belt covers, front mudguard, clock/ fuse facia) by Carbon King.
New bespoke swingarm bobbins, to fit around billet chain adjusters.
All 6/ 8/ 10mm fasteners now stainless (engine & chassis). Except for some unique to variant that have all been re-plated.
All new brake/ clutch/ engine oil feed hoses Hel stainless.
New Afam chain & sprockets (Ally rear/ Ti nuts).
New Samco coolant hoses and stainless clamps.
Original paint on frame & wheels.
Stainless ride height adjusters. Handles and sits more aggressively. Available from me.
Lucas billet rearsets.
Bespoke side stand extended, strengthened and obviously no flick up. Bike leans at a MUCH better angle.
Billet bespoke crank turn cover (available from me) and anti flip stainless side stand bolt (also available).
New grips and billet bars.
Front sprocket case saver fitted.
Ally frame plugs.
New Bridgestones.
New Yuasa battery.
Obviously new belts, fuel filter, oil & filter, fork oil, coolant, plugs and with the rebuild, everything re-greased/ lubed, copper slipped etc....

The components fitted are of at least equal quality, most better/ newer/ improved/ simplified. And it's lighter and handles/ steers better. I just wanted to make one just a little different for someone seeking a beautiful bike that's more individual. Number 1 out of 1 as it were.
