1968 MGC GT SOLD
I have for sale a beautiful and well maintained MGC GT Automatic.
Finished in Old English White with a Cardinal Red interior.
Now 50 years old, this car has had some recent comprehensive mechanical works undertaken.
The car is not concours, and it would benefit from some paint correction. The price reflects the need for this and gives you the option of how far you want to go with the car..... show winner or Sunday relaxation..... the choice is yours.
*** Following an independant report from an MGCC Specialist, he identified some works required to make the car 100%.
Mainly corrective paintwork and panel work, the slightly mismatched door gaps that are the result of rear panel ill-fitting is one area to be noted. As a result they will need changed in future.
Additionally, some rebuilding work on the front stub axles will be required to correct heavy steering.
These will be no obstacle to an enthusiast looking to 'make the car their own'.
An added benefit is this car is now TAX EXEMPT and MOT EXEMPT!
Recent work includes;
Fuel pipes
Spark Plugs
Oil and Filter
New Batteries
Oil Cooler
Various hoses and pipes
Gearbox Service including fluid and filters
New Exhaust
Rear Springs
Brake Master Cylinder
Seat Bases
Minilite 15" Alloys
This car is now, quite simply, stunning value in a sparse market of the MGC GT

This car was bought as a parts car amd was bought sight unseen. When it arrived a quick assessment revealed a minor immobiliser fault was stopping it from going. It now has 2 new fobs and starts fine every time. I'm offering it for sale as a running project as I believe it too rare to break. It also helps it's had ...
