1977 Rolls Royce Shadow II 6.75L V8 Automatic For Sale
Recorded Mileage: 46,126
Remodelled in 1977, and called the Shadow 2, this was one of the first of the range produced. It boasts a low ownership, low recorded mileage and in a very original but tidy condition.
Finished in Acrylic Brewster Green with dark green Everflex roof, tan leather, Pioneer component tape player, Blaupunkt radio and the upgraded alloy/ rubber bumpers.
The history folder contains a detailed account of the mileage history starting in 1984 at 32,401 miles up until last MOT'd in 2015 at 45,603.
Maintained by a Ford Dealer, local to the owner, for the majority of its life.
Papers included in the folder detail the MOT works, maintenance work and present are even some invoices for when the car was washed- No expense was spared through the years!
With only 5 owners recorded from new in May 1977, looking at the paper work it seems as though the 3rd registered keeper on the V5 had the vehicle from new.
It looks as though the 1st and 2nd registered keeper of the Rolls were the companies belonging to the 3rd gentleman owner with initials AWK.
We believe this to be correct as the registration 78AWK was applied to the vehicle from the date of first registration up until the last owner decided to de-register the number in May 2010, putting it back on an age related plate.
It is believed that the Company Director owned the vehicle in excess of 20 years, from the details below .
The 4th owner of the Rolls seemed to only have the vehicle for a short length of time in the year 2000 and it is believed this may have been due to an inheritance from the deceased estate, which he quickly sold on.
The 5th and last registered owner of the Rolls Royce was the Director of a Coach Company who purchased the vehicle in July 2000.
In addition to the paper work are many MOTs dating back to 1991, a clear HPI certificate, old photographs and copies of registration documents.
The vehicle, now aged 41 years old, can now be registered as a historic vehicle making it tax and MOT exempt. This is a massive bonus to any classic car user!
Within the vehicle are the original lambs wool over rugs, foot rests and spare wheel.
