Unique Panhard PL 17 Tigre from April 1962.
The state of this Panhard is very neat and original given its age. The car drives and switches well.
This Panhard with its beautiful blue color is a sensational appearance on the road.
Ideal is the spacious entry of all four doors, these open wide.
The original interior consists of caramel colored fabric upholstery of the seats and the back seat, the door panels are partly made of fabric and partly of synthetic leather, this is still in a nice condition.
The car drives and shifts well, motorized the ball-bearing shaft bearings have to be replaced, with this type of car this is necessary every 40,000 kilometers.
This Panhard is definitely a visit and worth it!
The Panhard PL 17 is a car made by the French manufacturer Panhard from 1959 to 1965. Presented on June 29, 1959, as successor to the Panhard Dyna Z, the PL 17 was developed from the older car, but with an even more streamlined body than his predecessor.
Initially, the car continued to use the engines of the Dyna Z, both of 851 cc. The standard gave 42 hp (31 kW) (DIN), the "Tigre" gave 50 hp (37 kW) (DIN). The engines are two-cylinder air-cooled "boxer" types, mounted with the gearbox on the rear and the two exhausts on the front. From July 1960, the engines dropped in capacity to 848 cc (to meet tax limits at 850 cc in many markets), while the capacity remained as before.
