Powder Blue TR4 Targa for Sale
The car is a 1962 UK (Jersey) car which had a body off restoration with a CTM chassis - work completed in 2011 (some pics of the body off from the build). Engine and gearbox rebuilt at around 90k miles now at 5k miles--ie round the clock (many bills available). Heritage certificate for the car and owner information dating back to 1995.
It is not a concours car but has some sensible mods to make it useable; leather seats, narrow fan belt conversion, electric fan, safety isolator, OD on 2nd 3rd and 4th , stainless steel ‘extractor’ exhaust, spin on oil filter, newish (less than 2 year old) Vredestein tyres, disc brakes on front, handbrake on tunnel, Motolita wheel, spot lamps, etc.
It is a Targa model and has a matching metal hardtop with lining all in perfect condition.
It won the TR Register Car of the Show at the Bo’ness hillclimb in 2016…not competing I hasten to add!
We have owned the car for three years and thoroughly enjoyed driving it on car club tours (eg 3 days 700 miles covered) and long summer runs.
The car has always been stored in a temp and RH controlled building, there is no rust on the car.
It goes really well and the paintwork is very good, chrome work is in good condition. It just deserves a bit more use than we have been giving it.
