Originally built for sprint and hill climbing - but more recently used in the Scottish SMRC Sports and Saloons class - easily competing with more expensive 300 to 400 bhp cars due to its super light weight and fantasic handling. It's never failed to finish a race strongly.
Peugeot 106 / Citroen Saxo TU 1600cc 8 valve Ravic / Phil Davidson built rally race engine, balanced crank, machined piston pockets, baffled sump, steel head gasket, on DTA management system, running standard Group A inlet restrictor.
