I bought this bike as a stalled restoration five years ago and, due to personal circumstances, it hasn't progressed as fast as I had hoped. Now I'm going to have to move it on and let someone else finish the job!
Its a 1960 model year Tiger 110 'Bathtub' model with the first of the duplex frames and has the bracing bars on the frame as you can see. The previous owner began restoring it and chose 1961 model year colours of blue and silver - it should be black and white and the blue is not a true Kingfisher blue either but it looks great!
I've spent a lot of money with Ace Classics buying various parts that were either missing or worn out like fork stanchions. There aren't many parts needed to complete the build now, mainly time needed. I have the necessary manuals and parts diagrams to go with the bike and it is on its' wheels to make life easier.
All the metalwork is in good condition but the bike would make a great flat tracker too if that's the way you want to go - I couldn't make my mind up between a proper restoration or a bar-hopper!
I would like to get about £4,500 for it as I believe that is what it's worth, I have spent much more than that to get it to this stage so please, no silly offers! Thank you for looking!
