1963 Jaguar E-Type 1. series 3.8 ltr Coupé For Sale
7.669 E-Type Coupés of the 1. series were produced between 1961 and 1964.
This early E-Type Coupé has been delivered first by the general importer of Jaguar und famous race driver Peter Lindner in Frankfurt/Main. First owner was the American officer H.D. Büttner who took the vehicle years later on his return to the USA. In 2009 the car first came to the Netherlands and finally to a German Jaguar collector in 2010. It was followed by a very elaborate restoration which took a total of 6 full years to complete. The extensive work is very well documented by numerous photos. Today we present his E-Type Coupé in mint condition. The car is matching numbers and has only completed the first drive-in kilometers since the restoration. An E-Type Coupé in this outstanding condition is more rare than a compliant roadster. A "must have" for any Jaguar enthusiast!
