A Miltek exhaust was very recently fitted and all 4 tyres look new. Alloys are in Great order. There are 2 Keys.

Unbelievably this car shows 9 owners on the V5 Vehicle registration book ( 8 former , 1 current)
(SC indicates he only sees this in the UK. He never sees this on our historic imports)
We have been road testing the car in our usual extensive fashion and revealed a PO431 warm up catalyst efficiency below Threshold bank 2 fault code.
SC has rectified this simply by renewing all Sparkplugs with NGK. All the Original VAG group ones were overgapped and 3 of the pencil coil rubber inserts were interfering with sparkplug contact. All problem pencil coils have been 'properly set'. (audi Recommend Sparkplug change at 20k miles. We recommend 10k miles and 2 years , no more. On vacuum strong engines a weak performance spark plug can lead to excessive oil vapour burn , hence the catalyst fault.)
He also thinks the Passenger side electric window is a little slow up and down , but this may be due to lack of use and
hardened Rubber movement channels.In addition he's picked up 'wind noise' at the 'Drivers ear' Glass level. This'll be a door seal.
The Body work is very straight and the interior is in good order (drivers R8 footmat is a bit worn!.. the carpets underneath are fine.)SC reports its Quite a Drivers car and reminds him of Ferrari 355 Stick shift (in the Mid 90's) before the paddleshift phenomena! It certainly rattles less than a 355! Same sort of engine noise though..
SC indicates these V8's compare very favourably with their newer V10 counterparts and their performance/value for money is almost unrivalled. (SC prefers this car to the Lamborghini aventador in our possession.)

Unfortunately its not a case of simply being re-coded (audi maidstone tried that). Its failure was very recent (for some reason). We think this seems to be not an uncommon issue for the Bose Amp in a variety of high performance cars..
As at 28/02/2019 SC have smoke tested the car to see if the Miltek Cat Back exhaust is emissions compliant. The Pass was good. We Remot'd the car 22/03/2019 and the pass perfect.
