This one is a rare GM FRANCE model, a car that has been sold new in France in 1969.
They were approximatevely only 16 export model convertible 400 that has been sold new in France in 1969.
The original 400 YT block has been strocked to 462 (4,21 stroke and 4,18 bore) with forged crank, H-beam rods and pistons, ARP everywhere, a lot of work.
Heads are #16, lightly ported, stainless steel valves, RA4 length, Crower springs, 455SD like cam, Edelbrock aluminium intake, with a custom built 800cfm Q-JET . Crane xr-i ignition in the original distributor, complete dual 2,5” exhaust system with headers and Hooker mufflers
The TH400 has been rebuilt and works very well.
This is an absolutely NO-rust Body , underside, with subframe connector, polyurethane bushing (body and drive train), drilled front disc brake, EBC pads, 1” front anti-roll bar, kyb shocks, new 12” brake booster…. And many more
Interior is very good, with new carpet.
Paint is presentable but old.
Soft top is the original one from 1969, that still works great but needs a new rear plastic glass.
