1973 Stag with Low Mileage and Interesting History For Sale
Manual with overdrive Mimosa Yellow with Black int., almost full service history with its original Passport To Service diary and original handbook. I purchased this Stag from Guernsey in 2007, it had been taken there by its original owner when he retired there in 1976. I then sold the Stag to a local gentleman and I took over the servicing of the car until I bought the car back. It is a very original Stag with a superb hardtop and a recently renewed soft top. It has its original square 8 spot and fog lamps and its Motorola radio has been converted to iPod connection. All the usual reliability modifications have been carried out i.e., electronic ignition, big radiator, auxiliary Kenlowe fan, stainless steel exhaust etc. As is usual with any Stag the foam in the front seats started to deteriorate so new foam and seat covers were fitted. Automatic rear seat belts are also fitted.
The car drives superbly and its time in Guernsey accounts for its very low mileage.
This Stag has now completed its extensive restoration for bodywork and a full respray, this includes many new panels and sills.
In October 2015 the car had an extensive engine rebuild at a cost of £4000 this included a new water pump and engine bay refurbishment.
