BSA from 1942 equipped with a very rare GRUPPO VELOX kit from 1948.
The GRUPPO VELOX is an Italian kit manufactured by Luigi PARENA in Turin after the war in order to transform a side valve engine for OHV high-performance engine (also available for Norton 16H and Triumph).
It consists of an aluminum cylinder, an 84mm piston and an aluminum cylinder head with a system using a single spring to recall the valves, admission to 30mm.
The kit is in perfect condition, the pellets on the valves are new, the whole been renovated.
The high engine is currently removable.
Low engine has also been renovated, all seals and bearings changed, no play at the connecting rod. The engine has not been turned since it was restored.
The gearbox has also been renovated, bearings and seals changed, sealing ok.
Miss the carburetor.
Full cycle at 99%, missing the plate holder and a taillight (and maybe what I had not seen ...)
New parts: saddle leather, oil and petrol plugs, mudguard rear front ...
Motorcycle assembled for photos and transport but requires a complete dismantling for an aesthetic restoration and a finish of the result you want (painting, electricity, cable, etc.)
I give the necessary documents to prove the legal origin of the bike.
I finish with a box of parts to finish the winding of the bike (screws, knee handles, handlebars, etc. ....
Photos on request, visits welcome, answer assured
Exchange possible (with or without my addition) against motorcycle racing before 1950.
