The text below was written by the previous owners
"The car was purchased by the current owner at an H and H classic car auction in October 2000. During my ownership it has had regular maintenance, new tyres and tubes, new carburettor (same as on a Model T) , rewired, starter motor rebuild. It has been used for several weddings for family and friends, rallies and car shows.
The major restoration of the car was done in the 1990's. The engine was completely rebuilt which necessitated making a complete set of pistons and rings, together with new valves and valve springs and guides. The spring shackle pins , bushes, wheel bearings and seals were all replaced. The wheels were rebuilt using English oak. The car was completely resprayed and then used for film work, mainly at Shepperton Studios, and for wedding hire.
The car has 3 forward gears, the middle pedal is the accelerator, the foot brake operates on the rear wheels, and the handbrake operates on the transmission."
