A 1948 Danish Nimbus 750cc motorcycle in very good condition. It has a 4 cylinder in line engine and the engine and frame numbers match. I have just got it out from its cover in a dehumidified garage and it started second kick. I bought this bike last year but I’m sorry to say that it doesn’t suit my artificial hip. So I am confined to my smaller bikes in future. It’s in a dark crackle bronze colour that isn’t to my taste and if I was keeping it, I would probably have had it resprayed but apart from that the paintwork is fine overall. The only bit of bodywork that needs fettling is the front mudguard, which has some dents and a slight crack on the front edge (see picture). These are solid bikes, which were used by the Danish Postal service for years. There is an excellent manual with the bike and also a folder with very detailed pictures of every part and every nut and bolt on the bike. The tyres are brand new and all electrics work. The engine and frame numbers match. This is the bike for someone who wants something different.
The bike is just over 2 miles from Junction 10 of the M11 next to The Imperial War Museum Duxford.
