For Sale, my 4 owner 1971 Hillman Imp Deluxe, "Alice" painted in rare Golden Olive metallic.
I've owner her since 2013, covering around 4000 miles, including a recent week away to Paris, completed at a healthy 50mpg, two up with luggage!
Mechanically she has always run very well and has required only routine maintenance such as oil, filters etc in my ownership. This has included the precautionary replacement of all rubber fuel lines and a recent battery.
Bodywork is in sound presentable condition. I have had welding done to the NS sill with paint to the doors and both rear quarters to keep her looking smart. The chrome work is in excellent condition.
The interior is original and wearing its age very well, with the vinyl seats in good order. There is a period radio fitted, but it is a little temperamental.
There are some paint imperfections as you might expect, and the colour match for the front wings is not perfect. She is however sound and very presentable.
A great runner and a delightfully peppy car to drive. She comes with folders of history showing continued loving ownership.
Please get in touch if you want to view her. I also have some spares available for sale and for the right price, I could include these in the sale.
1968 Hillman Imp Californian. Bright red with black upholstery. A very rare sight on U.K roads now. The coupe bodyshell is similar to the standard body but features a more shallow-raked windscreen.....
Based on the Hillman Imp introduced in 1963, the Californian coupe was launched in 1967, the coupe version having a sloping tail, and no rear hatch. The Imp and its variants were developed as a competitor.....
Hillman Imp Super for sale.
Good paint, new tyres, new carpets, original interior.
Some history, old MOTs, and various spares.
No space to store this pretty little car, garage is full of other classics!
