For sale 1972 AUSTIN MINOR 8CWT VAN Austin and Morris were both
part of BMC with this Austin badged model being the rarer and most
desirable having the larger 1098 engine and uprated springs plus the
larger correct 165x14 wheels.
I will give my appraisal of my van. I have owned it for past 18 years
and used for part of that time as my business advert and light carry
transport. It has in recent times had a new radiator -- Alternator --
headlamp rims and bowls -- Water pump -- coolant hoses -- master
cylinder -- wheel cylinders -- Battery -- plus full service --rust
protection -- paint and tyres are in good condition. I
make no pretence that it is perfect but can honestly say that it is in
good sound working order and at the price I have placed the advert is
a bargain and a sound investment. If required for showing it will
require a little work mainly in the engine bay which does require some
cleaning and painting plus a little door adjustment, well within the
average persons abilities. It is mechanically very good
and has proved extremely reliable and been an attractive advert for my
classic car restoration business. I am now having major health issues
and close to retiring age so the advertising is no longer required. It
has had little use recently owing to my health so would benefit from
more regular running. It is fitted with more comfortable seating but
the originals are with it though will need recovering.
The signwriting is on the small panels and if flatting off I still have
the correct paint for a new owner I am being very realistic with
my pricing and seeking very close to £4975.00 please contact me
for further information on 07791284060 I will accept most forms of
payment cleared before collection but owing to the charges I cannot be
paid with paypal.
