1981 Jeep CJ7. Orginally a 4.0ltr straight six but now converted to 3.5 Rover V8 with Land Rover Gearbox(LT77) and transfer case. This is an unfinished project as the electrics and steering still need to be completed for it to be road legal.
The engine is a 3.5ltr Rover V8 that was fully Re-built by the previous owner. It has a new Crower high lift cam, an Edelbrock aluminium intake manifold, a Holley 390 Carburettor and a 4 in to 1 matched length Stainless Exhaust manifold fabricated by myself with Cherry Bombs.
The rear Axle has been re-furbished with new Forged Superior Axles fitted with new bearings. The front has the original axles but has new outer bearings. The brakes have new pads all round and have been reconditioned and are in good condition. There are new Skyjacker dampers all round. The tyres and wheels are 33X12.5X15 Kumho Venture tires with chromed steel wheels all round.
The Electrics are not finished but the engine has all new electrics. The dashboard is stainless steel and has new Autometer Gauges, Tachometer, Speedometer, Oil Pressure, Battery Current, Fuel level and Water Temperature.
There is a heavy duty rollbar connected to the chassis if you are a keen off-road enthusiast. There is a soft top that can be used on it as well as the hardtop shown. I have a spare wheel with no tire on a second spare axle casing for the back and a High lift jack that I am including in the sale. I also have the original straight six that was in the jeep if this would be required that I could sell with the Jeep.
Any question feel free to ring or email me.
