2003 MG TF 160 - Rare blue: 1 of 39 For Sale

Reluctantly selling my 2003 MG TF 160 in Monochrome Mirage 2 Blue (MG only painted 39 TFs in this colour) (paint code IAU) Owned since 2015 3 Previous owners MG TF 160 Rare paint code Matching hard-top Soft-top in great condition (as hardtop is rarely taken off) MOT Expires in late May 1.8L Petrol 97353 Miles (will go up as this is my everyday car) Sounds and runs amazingly Very fast due to it’s light weight. Leather seats with alcantara Walnut effect finish on center console and steering wheel. New battery in 2017 New clutch in 2017 4 new tyres in 2018 New alternator belt in 2018 New windscreen in 2019 (stones falling from a moving lorry caused a crack) Head gasket changed by previous owner – never had any overheating trouble The Good: I’ve had this car since 2015 and it has never let me down. It drives perfectly and gets to speed very quickly. It’s a real head turner because of its unique colour. The 160 model has far nicer interior than models which precede it including leather and alcantara seats with walnut finish to the steering wheel and center console. Apart from one or two car park dinks the body work is very straight as the car has been looked after by myself and previous owners. The previous owner to me planned on taking this car to Le Mans tour, hence why the head gasket was changed for the event. I should say, he DIDN’T do the tour which was lucky for the car and it’s engine. Spent most of it’s time, until recently, kept overnight in the garage. The Bad: Every so often the rubber mounts on the steering arm need lubricating. There is a blemish (in the pics) which has been there since I had the car. Surface rust has started to appear on the rear wheel arches. Quoted £300 for repair. The CD player in the boot is left over from when a previous owner installed a touch screen radio – so the CD player is redundant. The window stoppers on the passenger side have perished which means the window needs to be lowered when getting in or out the car. Windscreen wiper speeds are intermittent. Viewing welcome. I've been honest above so please contact with the intention to buy. It's a very well looked after car. Great for the summer. I'd love to see this go to an MG enthusiast who will look after it as much as previous owners have. Cash on collection. Open to sensible offers.
