This very rare Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS "Superleggera" coupe was first delivered to Switzerland in 1955 and registerd to Schelling & Co. in Rümlang. Other owners in Switzerland are documented. A few years ago the car was bought by a German collector and extremely extensive “frame off” restored by various special workshops. Engine, gearbox and the other technic parts were revised, the electrics and the chrome trim were replaced, a premium-quality painting was applied and the entire interior was renewed in highest quality. The complete restoration has been finished just one year ago and is documented by about 900 photos.
The car with "matching numbers" impresses with its beautiful colour combination and its outstanding condition which qualifies this 1900 CSS Touring for every competition - a classic car for the real connoisseur!
