1980 Rare Aston Martin V8 Series IV Oscar India (LHD) For Sale
The "Oscar India" specification of the Aston Martin V8 was introduced in October 1978 at the Birmingham International Motor Show. Visually, the former scoop on the bonnet gave way to a closed "power bulge", while a spoiler was integrated into the tail. Most Oscar India cars were equipped with a Chrysler "Torqueflite" three-speed automatic transmission, with wood trim fitted for the first time since the DB2/4 of the 1950s. There were only approx. 292 Aston Martin V8 Serie 4 "Oscar India" build.
Today it is the rarest and most desirable V8.
This is a rare European Version with "Stage 1" engine tuned by Aston Martin Lagonda factory.
This Aston was an original righthanddrive, which was converted by a professional Aston Martin specialist to lefthanddrive.

more tan 25000 GBP were invested in the last 3 years. The car is a solid driver but still has some minor rust issues in the trunk area and other sheet metal. As its bottom was ice blasted they are easy to inspect and I am happy to provide pictures. The bodyshop estimates 6000 Euros to take care of them. So the car will be ready for the season if you make a decision to own this beauty now.
Update: Transmission got a full overhaul and fuel system and carbs were cleaned.
