Stability control, elechromatic rear view mirror, electric height adjustment seats, LCD display , trip computer , remote central locking , eight speaker sound system and 6 CD auto changer .
Finished in original Brooklands Green , amazingly well preserved with all the factory panels free with the exception of a minute crease in the offside rear wing , which unless you were aware is undetectable. There are minor blemishes on meticulous inspection , but does not detract from its overall appearance . The supplying dealer Guy Salmon rear window sticker and number plates still present.
Finished in Oatmeal leather with Birdseye Maple veneer which was a unique use for the Sport model are in pristine condition. The carpets are deep pile in a contrasting sage green , again showing little wear with Jaguar overmats protecting them. The interior has a factory fresh smell and feel to it .
Engine and transmission-
The AJ6 3.2 litre 24 valve engine was the last of the six cylinder engines before the change to the V8, developing 214bhp . The car runs smoothly and quietly as expected with the lovely crisp crackle of the six cylinders on acceleration. 30 mpg is easily achievable on longer distances on Shell V power fuel. All fluids are to the correct level and clear of contaminents commensurate with servicing every 3k on average.
Wheels and tyres-
16 inch alloys in silver with charcoal grey inserts shod with the correct Pirelli P6000 tyres as fitted when new and have between 4-6 mms depth. The spare is full size and unused. The front rims do having some kerbing damage but not severe, I have not had them redone as overall they are in top condition.
First registered on the 1st Aug 1997 with Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton Surrey to Barrister who used it mainly at weekends , he retired from driving due to eyesight problems and passed the car to his son in 2014 followed by myself in 2016. The car has had 20 services with the majority carried out by Jaguar main dealers with stamped records and large file of invoices and back MOTs. Two sets of keys on their original fobs.
Overall this is in exceptional condition and much admired
