Chassis number FAJ11662197 - this warranted 30534 mile example was supplied new to an Edinburgh gentleman on Friday November 7th 1958, who was to remain the owner until 1974, we are informed by the vendor that the car was then bequeathed to it second owner a friend of the first who was the proprietor of an Edinburgh Rolls Royce and Bentley dealership. We are further lead to believe by the vendor that the car was used as a "Loan Car" or "Courtesy Car" at The Palace of Holyrood House in Edinburgh and nicknamed "Treasure" at the Palace where it was used for covert trips around Edinburgh and the surrounding area by Royalty, the association being through the Rolls Royce and Bentley connection of the cars owner. We have to state that we have no factual evidence to back this story up. The car is presented with various associated paperwork which includes the Drivers Manual, original registration Buff Book, Repair Schedule and Service Booklet along with a photograph of "Treasure" being awarded first prize in the Appleyard of Edinburgh Concours Event circa 1980. Since 2014 the car has been in the Company name of an Edinburgh Dealership.
