It is with a heavy heart that I am putting up my 1967 MGB GT for sale but with two small children and the need for the money I must now sadly pass her on.
Despite not needing an MOT she does have a valid MOT with no advisories and comes with a part history of receipts dating back to the 90’s. She pulls and drives away extremely well, feeling strong in all gears. She is very solid throughout especially on the usually places of the sills, floors and the castle rails.
In my time I have replaced the alternator as well as adding an electronic ignition. I have swapped a racing steering wheel for a more in keeping banjo style steering wheel as well as swapping the front and rear chrome bumpers for a much more presentable pair - but I still have the originals if you would like them. The headlights have been updated to a hylogen beam and has been garaged - with blankets- in all the time I have had her. She lalso has had a updated head to take unleaded fuel.
As you can see she is by no means a show pony as she has a number of spots where the paintwork has cracked or starting to bubble and the passenger side door has been amateurly sprayed in, so she would benefit from a full respray to get her back to her splendour.
The original carpets would perhaps benefit from being replaced, the dashboard seems to have a rather failed attempt at a crackle finish and there is a small crack in the front windscreen. But all of these things a merely small cosmetic alterations you can achieve as you go, with the confidence that she is mechanically and structurally as strong as an Ox.
I feel like am asking for a fair price for what is now a very sort after no 1 Mgb GT.
I have tried to be as honest as I can be but if there are any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
