Classic Car Design offers you ...
... this elegant JAGUAR XK 140 SE Convertible DHC.
As a worthy heir to the XK120, the Jaguar XK140 maintains the overall line and curves of its predecessor. The aesthetic evolutions are at the level of the bumpers, the radiator grill with expanded blades surrounded by additional projectors and chrome rods on the bodywork. Cogwheel steering and modified suspension improve behavior and driving. Finally, the cabin is a little more spacious thanks to the advanced engine about 10 cm.
This unit of 1957 is in perfect condition from all points of view. The English green paint is associated with a beige leather that covers seats and door panels. The black alpaca top is free from defects. In the closed position, the line remains elegant, a chrome rods is located all around the hood and the elements of the mechanism are masked by nutwood identical to that which dresses the doors and the dashboard. Once folded, the hood is protected by a beige leather soft top cover. Roof open, the elegance and refinement of this magnificent Jaguar are indisputable.
The famous XK engine, 6 cylinders 3,4l is here equipped with the Type C cylinder head which allows it to develop 213ch. Coupled with the 4-speed mechanical gearbox, it is able to take the car to more than 200 km/h. The driving pleasure of this car is omnipresent.
This car has obviously its file of invoices and successive valuations (the last dating from October 2018) which show the care taken by its owner.
