All steel Frogeye Sprite, upgraded to 1275cc engine and box and differential.
A Heritage certificate confirms this Sprite was originally exported to Los Angeles USA. It came back to the U.K. in 1994 and it the late 1990’s underwent a full nut and bolt bare shell restoration. Converted to RHD at this time and upgraded with a 1275cc engine and gearbox with 3.9 differential making it much more enjoyable to drive as it keeps up with modern traffic although looking completely standard. The brake have also been upgraded to discs at the front.
The restoration was extremely thorough with photos showing the shell stripped of all paint and any rust cut out and new floors and sills being fitted. It then received new brakes and suspension, a new wiring loom and ancillaries. A rebuilt engine and gearbox. New seats, carpets hood etc. Including a new grille. Since then is covered less than 4,000 Dry miles. Still very presentable with some patina. Coming with a large history file, excellent hood and widescreens.
