This Interceptor MK III was first registered in May 1974 and is in excellent condition.
The comprehensive history file shows the car was originally a demonstrator model hence the louvered bonnet, sheepskin seat inserts and other options fitted when new.
Finished in Aruba Red with contrasting tan upholstery. The chassis and body are rust free and present very well. The underside of the arches are painted body colour and free from any underseal.
The history file also includes invoices, original sales brochures and old MOT certificates validating the 54,000 miles the car has covered since new.
The Chrysler 7.2 litre V8 is now fitted with a Martin Robey carb and manifold conversion together with a tubular manifold. The alternator has also been upgraded.
A significant improvement has been the fitment of an overdrive unit to the 3 speed automatic gearbox. This superbly engineered conversion gives the car an effective 4 speed box controlled electronically which makes the car a more relaxed drive by making the best use of the engines huge torque. This overdrive unit can be turned off if required but it is matched to the final drive ratio and significantly improves the driving experience.
Having recently undergone further improvements and professional renovation work the car is now ready for its new owner to enjoy.
Now fully serviced it will be sold with 12 months MOT and can be viewed on a ramp by prior appointment
